During my time at Select Medical Corp, I had the privilege of managing multiple clinics across the NoCo region, mentoring clinic managers, and providing patient care for 30-50 hours a week.
Medicaid
We gladly accept Medicaid with a doctor's referral. We send the invoice to your insurance carrier to apply toward the deductible or for reimbursement. Although, All Medicaid patients will need to have a prescription for physical therapy; please fax your prescription to 855-595-2510
Medicare
Dear Client,
I wanted to take a moment to address our policy on accepting Medicaid but not Medicare. As a small business that provides healthcare services, we understand the importance of being able to accept different forms of insurance to ensure that our patients have access to the care they need. However, we have made the difficult decision not to accept Medicare at this time.
The reason for this decision is due to the complex procedures and difficulties that accepting Medicare can create for small businesses like ours. While Medicaid is a state-administered health insurance program that is more streamlined and simpler to process, Medicare is a federal program that has more complex regulations and requirements which can make it difficult for small businesses to navigate.
The administrative burden of complying with Medicare regulations can be enormous, and the potential for errors is high. This can lead to denied claims, which can be time-consuming to resolve and can have a negative impact on our financial sustainability. Additionally, Medicare reimbursement rates are generally lower than other insurance programs, which can make it difficult for small businesses like ours to maintain adequate levels of revenue.
Our goal is to provide quality healthcare services to as many individuals as possible, and we appreciate your understanding and support as we navigate the challenges of the healthcare industry. We are committed to continuing to accept Medicaid and other forms of insurance to ensure that our patients have access to the care they need.
